1. Make use of the boxes.
You'll notice that we've
used the top box to provide
a "summary" of what each page
is about. You may also want
to follow this convention. Allow
your readers to quickly see
if this is a page they want
to read, then provide further
detail in this lower box.
2. You may replace the coffee
cup imagery.
You may delete the big coffee
cup picture, and replace the
upper right image with a flag
image, money image, or a blank
image. See "Get
Started" to find out how.
3. Insert your own images
that have complimenting or contrasting
colors.
Find images that have brown
or beige tones to compliment
the site, or use images with
contrasting blue, dark green,
purple, or dark red colors to
grab attention! Yellow and orange
images won't fit within the
color palette.
4. Mix up your web site
with the one-column template.
If you have a page that doesn't
have vertical nav buttons (for
example, a lone "child" page
or a page that has no child
pages), you may have a blank
left box. You may either insert
other content in the box, or
try using the
one-column layout!
5. Use Preview in Browser.
Go to File > Preview in Browser,
select IE, and click Preview.
Keep this window open as you
are working on your site and
refresh it to see your changes
occur. This is more accurate
than trying to use Preview mode
in FrontPage.
